Art’s always opened doors. From the pieces on the Berlin Wall rebelling against division and oppression to Eadweard Muybridge’s galloping horse paving the way for film, it ushers progress and shifts perspective.

Lasso is a personal concierge for digital objects (read: art). They use on- and off-chain aggregation techniques to provide real-world utility for collectors and forecast trends.

What’s that mean? More value for artists and collectors. A tailored feed with the latest from your favorite artists.

It also means your NFTs can grant you entrance into a secret club, unlock exclusive merch drops, or even enable you to vote in a project that changes the world.

Inspired by that seamless aggregation and user experience, we saddled up to craft a brand identity that reflects Lasso’s broad reach and dynamic movement. We collaborated with their team to create an experience that speaks to both sides of Lasso’s work: digital access and real-world utility.

Logo

Drawing from Lasso’s AI-driven aggregation, we created a logo that symbolizes the continuous flow of data they harness for their users. The typography stretches seamlessly from end to end to reflect Lasso’s reach to the absolute ends of the data spectrum. We also captured the essence of those billions of raw data pieces in an engaging visual language of particles swirling and colliding, further highlighting the form of the logo.

Developing Identity

We built on form language from the logo itself to shape the rest of the brand. It helps channel the user experience, manifests in 3D objects, and creates a harmonious echo within the product. Hell — even the iconography relies on a system of 75-degree angles.

The point is that Lasso brings form to what can feel nebulous. We loved working with the Lasso team to create a brand identity that reflects this in both bold and nuanced ways, ultimately communicating their mission of mapping the ever-changing landscape of useful digital objects, creating more real-world value for NFT collectors.
